Current WOP (work in progress)! A green dragon.

Design and pattern by Crafty Intentions.
The tail of a partially crocheted forest green dragon sits with a crochet hook in one of the stitches. The tail is inbetween a skein of green yarn and a row counter.

I did nothing but crocheting birds last week. The pattern is by Lime Green Lady, and can be found on their website here: limegreenlady.wordpress.com/2015/03/20/c...
Two crochet birds, one is about half the size of the other. The little bird is purple with a yellow beak. The larger bird is speckled and shifts in color from purple, black, blue, and pink. Larger crochet bird, color fades from purple, black, light blue, light pink, purple, the the bird's tail is black. The bird has a yellow beak and feet. Little purple crochet bird with a yellow beak and two yellow feet. Large crochet bird made with plush yarn. The bird is mostly black, exept the top of the head, wings, and tip of the tail is light blue. The bird had a pale yellow beak and pale yellow feet.

All the art I did this week.

The first photo it of three covers I crocheted for some 16 oz glass jars. The second is more hand drawing practice.

The cover on the jar to the right is mint green at the bottom, fading to light blue, then to light greenish yellow, light yellow, and cream. It flails out at the top, and is sinched at the neck of the jar with a dark blue crocheted string tied in a bow. The cover on the jar on the left it of the same design, exept the color starts at the bottom pale green, fading to mint green light blue, blue, dark blue, blue, light blue and mint green. The sinch on this one is black and not crocheted, help in place by a single hole cord lock. The cover on the jar in the middle has the same colors as the one to the left, but does not flail outward like the other two. Instead it ends where a blue crocheted string is sinching it at the neck of the jar. Image description: An angular right hand is drawn in pencil. Drawing practice from yesterday!

I have always struggled to draw what I can see, so yesterday I decided to sit down and practice... and it went better then I thought it would!

In the top left of the page, a side profile of a person is drawn. He has a curly hair the is long and messy on the top, with a fade on the sides. He has full lower lip that sticks put a little further than his upper lip, and long nose with a bump in the middle. He has a slight smile showing pronounced dimples, and puffy cheeks. His eyes are squinting slightly, showing crows feet, and he wears large glasses. He has large-er ears with connected lobes, with a small round earing, and inside his ear is an earbud.
