I ported my GGJ video prototype into my FPS test project pretty quickly! I had to modify the camera in blender a bit but that wasn't as scary as I expected. I think this could be a pretty cool co-op asymmetric multiplayer game? That would be a big project!

Just a creepy tech demo using rendering masking. You're in a subway with other riders and a thermal camera. It can see things that aren't there. Or are they?

If your FPS doesn't have a shotgun I don't want to play it.

Work keeps me traveling so I haven't been able to do any personal gamedev for a couple weeks. But next weekend is GGJ which will be fun!

Hopefully a GIF does a better job showing off the graphics. I put everything into a cyberpunk environment, just to see how it'd look. Not too bad! Absolutely not sure what to do with this though, but I added shooting today.

Just experimenting with some FPS vibes today. I implemented stepped animation so the weapon only animates at 12fps but everything else runs at a normal frame rate.

I think my retro post process is reaching it's final form. Now you specify the target resolution and it handles the resolution scaling internally. The dithering is now pixel perfect. It's also an uber shader for better perf.

I updated my little test to use my retro post process.and added a pixelation pass to the stack. Added the Unity demo fog too. I'll have to try on mobile later.
