If Nintendo Switch 2 games are already on the eShop but just can't be installed on the Switch 1, doesn't that mean that DK bananza and MK World are technically already out and released, just their system is not? Like you can buy the games, you just can't install them anywhere

My colleague pulled out a Game Boy Advance SP out the other day. Told me he got it cuz he needed a fun lil game machine to play Pokemon on vacation

I'm a vegetarian, but through @kurzgesagt.org's newest video (and some follow up research), i found out that mussels, and bivalves in general, are pretty good for the environment. They also do not have a brain, so they do not suffer in any traditional way. So I'm making an exception from now on

In a few years, i will be older than the age gap between me and my parents, and that feels weird because when that has happened, there will be a past period in which my parents had less life experience, memories and wisdom than me

As a car free public transport enthusiast that doesn't even have a driver's license, I love that YouTube keeps giving me car ads. Fuck McDonald's or KFC or whatever crypto platform I have to use, just keep showing me cool cars I'm never going to buy!

The Polar Express is a bit like Shrek where at first watch you look at the weird animation and characters and think "what am i even watching" but on later rewatches you start to love the story and the wacky scenes and realise why it's a classic

It's weird realising that 10, 100, 100000 are not special numbers by any means. They're as much an integer as 568 and as rational as 87.96. They're not prime, they don't do anything remarkable. They're just nice and round because we made them that way

I dont think people realise that Time chooses the most newsworthy person op the year, not a person that Time specifically likes. Many horrible people have become person of the year, that doesnt say so much about Time as it says about the state of the world in general
