Hah yes it can be perilous to your career. Generally speaking though, you find that the professionalism of these experts means that it’s not like the movies, you just have to have the intestinal fortitude to say sir, that would be a violation of my own personal values and the values of the force.

To refuse an order, you would simply go to them and say, we can’t do that with an explanation.

I’m sorry this isn’t more coherent, I’m dealing with a personal emergency and I’m distracted. The point is that these physicians are not what you would picture as your GP… these are strict men, with serious backgrounds in medicine. These are the type of people whose names you find in text books.

Just a reminder that The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in January 2025 finalized a rule that would ban consumer-reporting agencies from including medical bills on credit reports (and would prohibit lenders from using medical information as part of credit decisions). (1/2)

Joe Biden Physicians never assessed him to need one. It’s wasn’t even a part of his annual exam, The White House physician, who is a military medical officer hand-picked from elite ranks, vetted by multiple agencies, and appointed directly by the President. Bound to US Constitution, and impartial.
