But I just upgraded to GeForce Now Ultimate and JESUS CHRIST this must be magic. It feels NATIVE! Truly, I’m not just saying that! I’m just as competitive in CoD, Destiny or BF6, didn’t die once in Doom The Dark Ages. £20 is a steep price but my god it earns it. Unbelievable!

Been trying GeForce Now Performance for a couple of months and find it perfectly adequate except for noticeable slower reaction times in first person shooters. Boosteroid was utterly unplayable for most games, particularly first person shooters.

I have been dabbling recently with cloud gaming. Well, for years I’ve been using Xbox Cloud Gaming but always found the visual quality too low and the latency to high.

Hey @jasonschreier.bsky.social - Xbox sent out emails today stating Gamepass subscription prices won't change for existing users. However, when I asked a support agent, they stated that is only the case until November 4th. Very misleading email!

So basically the email is just a straight-up LIE. I have checked and my subscription price has already changed to £22.99 (UK).

I’ve also tried Boosteroid, and while on paper it’s a superior service - any Steam game including Sony published, 4k, cheaper - the quality and latency is nowhere near as good as GFN. It’s just a shame GFN doesn’t support Sony games.

I use it a lot. I’m about 50/50 between XCloud and GeForce Now. I hook my Steam Deck up to my tv to stream pc games via GFN, but with Xbox adding support for 1440p streaming boxes games is now viable. So eventually I could drop GFN, maybe.
