The National School Food Program is now permanent!

This means up to 400,000 children will have access to healthy meals at school, . No child should learn on an empty stomach.

🇨🇦 22 Canadian MPs from 4 parties & 2 senators joined local & national cycling supporters to support the message that building bicycle-friendly communities brings prosperity to our country.

Thanks to all the folks who made this our most successful Bike Day on the Hill!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Freedom Boat Club.

Boat clubs are just one example of how we can reimagine access ensuring it continues to serve both residents and visitors while contributing to our city’s global reputation.

Appreciative of @runchinguyenrun.bsky.social using her time in Parliament today to recognize the importance of C-11 but specifically, the contributions of us civil society experts who've been demanding better yet consistently shut out.

Being name dropped in a positive way re: CAF is refreshing 😂

Bill C-11 is not just about reforming policies or updating processes. It is about the much-needed modernization of the Canadian military justice system so those who experience sexual misconduct and harassment can seek the justice they deserve.

Today, we honour the lives, memories, and spirits of Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people who have gone missing or been murdered.

We stand with survivors, families, and communities in their pursuit of justice, healing, and safety. We must end this national crisis.

This week I joined National & Women’s Caucus, attended the Survivor’s Flag Raising Ceremony, and was in the house while Bill C-9, the Combating Hate Act was debated.

On Thursday I delivered a statement on FIFA 2026 which you can watch here: youtu.be/UQQECCTDZO4.

See you at Nuit Blanche!

Today on Parliament Hill, we raised the Survivors’ Flag in honour of the children sent to residential schools, those who never returned home, and for the families forever impacted.

May this flag stand as a reminder of truth, and the work still ahead on the path to reconciliation 🧡

As Yom Kippur begins at sundown, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes to Jewish families in Spadina–Harbourfront & across Canada observing this sacred day. May this time of fasting, prayer, and reflection bring spiritual renewal, peace, and optimism for the year ahead.

Today on #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation, I’m supporting One Day’s Pay—a campaign urging Canadians to donate a day’s pay (or what you can) to Indigenous-led projects + movements.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Canada Strong Pass. Between June 20 and September 2, more than 50,000 Canadians explored our country by train, travelling over 43 million km (the equivalent of crossing Canada 9,000 times!) & saving more than $6.6 million along the way.
