Eight miles today. I really like longer runs with a distance goal rather than a time focus - tend to let my mind wander and be pleasantly surprised when I ‘come to’ and realise where I am. Joined by family members half way ‘round #running #runningviews

It is a bit nerve racking - just because of the possibility of a serious incident on my watch! Grateful for a strong team if it did arise…..& glad you had some rainbows, too! 🌈

The 7 NE Wales parkruns hosted 878 runners/walkers - 219 fewer than last week and just 27 more than this week last year for 6 parkruns - likely to due weather and local races on today. Volunteers numbered 155. My time as RD passed without incident (sigh of relief) #running #parkrun

A beautiful start to the day (after days of cloud) which gave way to….more clouds and rain. So it was a wet 8.2 miles run this afternoon (which i didn’t mind at all) #running #runchat

Not good! Our course is on private land and (in our short tenure) one fallen tree is the worst hazard encountered so far…fortunately, there was a chainsaw to hand (not mine!)
