My frustration was with my laptop and my Steam Deck, portable devices that absolutely should be shut down when not in use. I'd also prefer my desktop suspend properly so notifications don't nag me if I forget to turn it off before I go to sleep.

I have been able to guess every "shocking" reveal in #StrangerThings5 before they happen and it's making me unreasonably frustrated. I was really hoping for a wild and crazy fifth season like we got with Fringe, but instead I feel like the stakes are as low or lower than last season's.

I had a soft lock when Quavar couldn't keep up because she got stuck on a car so the cutscene of us talking tried to play but wouldn't progress without her. I know about the other soft lock issue but I'm on the latest Proton GE so I thankfully didn't encounter it.

I'm playing on a Steam Deck so some of it might just be the weird aspect ratio and Proton. π« Your mileage may vary.

Anyone else playing Unbeatable? I'm trying hard to like it but it feels unpolished and kludgy. It soft locks if NPCs don't keep up with you, the whole game freezes up when it's loading, and, like, are the speech bubbles in the dream sequences supposed to block the notes so they're impossible to hit?
