It's finally here, my long-awaited Gundam AU comic! Bright has gotten himself in a bit of a pickle...

Page 1.
The boots of Char and a Zeon soldier come into view.
Zeon guard: Commander Char?
Char: I'm here to see the prisoner.
Guard: ... Sir.

The door to a prison cell on the ship then opens as light shines through, showing the pitch dark silhouette of Char holding the door open. The prisoner, concealed by shadows, can be seen sitting in their cell and hunched over.
Door sound effect: Ka-chunk

The prisoner then warily looks up, revealed to be Bright Noa. He is covered in bruises and has a prominent black left eye. He is only wearing his undershirt and pants, his Federation uniform since confiscated, and has messy strands of hair poking out.

Char silently stands at the doorway, taking in the prisoner's features without visible emotion.
Char (thinking): .... Seems they took their humiliation out on him during the interrogation...

Page 2.
Char smiles as he enters the cell, arms held behind his back.
Char: Well! We meet again, Federation soldier... Or should I say, Bright Noa?

Bright angrily frowns back at him. He is shown sitting on his cell's cot, with hands gripping his knees.
Bright: ... You. You're the one who stole the Gundam... What is it that you're after now?

Char is unfazed by the response and continues to smile.
Char: Ohh, is that any way to greet a visitor? Although, I can't really blame you for your temper right now... Be at ease. I am only just here...

Char pauses mid-sentence to gesture to the Zeon guard behind him (seen only as silhouette) with a silent nod. Suddenly the guard slams the door shut behind Char, locking him in with Bright.

Char's dark silhouette, slightly lit by the door's barred window behind him, turns back to address Bright again.
Char: ... To talk.

Bright jolts in alarm from the sudden action.

Char begins walking over, his boots making gentle "tmp tmp tmp" sounds upon the floor.
Char: Relax. No harm will come to you.

He places his gloved hand on a stool that is opposite to Bright.
Char: ...You've been through enough.

Char is now seated upon the stool, smiling back in a leisurely manner with his legs crossed and hands clasped together. Some speed lines emanating from him emphasize the surprising suddenness.
Char: So let's chat.

Taken aback, a chibi Bright pauses in awkward confusion. Behind him is a screentone pattern of question marks.
Bright: Uh...

Page 4.
Bright and Char sit opposite of each other in the dark prison cell. A long silence draws out between them.
Sound effect: Shiiin... (Often used in manga to emphasis silence.)

After a short while, Char initiates their talk. He touches his chin as he recalls their meeting.
Char: ...You know, I am impressed by what you did back on Side 7. Leading that civilian insurrection group and ambushing us at the port... We certainly were not expecting that! I commend the effort.

Bright glares back at him, having no patience for idle chatter.
Bright: Cut to it already. If this is about the ship and Gundam...

Char retains his relaxed composure.
Char: Not quite, actually. You've already made it clear that you know little about them. But very well—I will cut right to it: I am here with a proposal for you...

First sketch is of Bright Noa, in his Zeon uniform, saluting and looking none too happy about it. Second sketch is him tiredly sighing as he holds a mug of piping hot coffee, commenting "At least the coffee here is good...". The third sketch is of Char leaning his arm against a very irritated Bright, who is holding his janitor's mop. Char just cheekily grins at the viewer while Bright gives him the stink eye. An arrow pointing at Char reads "In charge of keeping tabs on him (since this was all his idea)".

Because really, what is stopping a viewer from saying "I do not consent to seeing this" (even when said art is completely SFW and free of kink) and reporting it? On top of censoring fictional NSFW art, this will also endanger SFW art as well. No one wins with this.

Tbh, while I do not post NSFW on this art acc, the policy change is all the same making me second-guess some of my own art here and erring on the side of caution. It is hugely problematic when artists are beginning to doubt the "safety" of even their SFW art.

been picking at that AU Gundam idea some more and been doing some scribblings for mobile suit ideas. calling these two the GunRay and the GunFann. they are very subject to change.

a smooth and bulbous mobile suit with 4 arms, 2 normal humanoid arms and then 2 far longer segmented arms similar to the hygogg. Above it is its mobile armor mode which is a submarine that looks similar to a stingray.

the GunRay from the previous image, grabbing a low wall ahead of it and wielding a rifle in its sub arms.

A gangly and bird like mobile suit with reverse jointed legs and vtol fans. next to it is its mobile armor mode which is a vtol jet of sorts.

Bright doesn't really know what became of them and there is a point where he does wonder if anyone even knows where he is, considering the rest of the WB crew are dead. His options are enormously stacked against him.

I like to think that, because they were civilians, they were given lighter sentences or at the very least managed to escape. But who knows with Zeon really. Bright gets the much shorter end of the stick since he was the group's leader and an actual Feddie, so...
