The remake is solid, but takes the piece in a much different direction, and it lacks Argento's auteurial stamp. It's a handsome studio piece rather than the work of a visionary.

🎯💯. I experienced a hierarchy in a lot of my work experiences there. Favored children got time off, the rest got to work weekends and holidays as crunch time became normalized and permanent.

One manager tried to have team meetings on Sunday mornings.

My friends and I started a Star Trek TTRPG during COVID; Lower Decks premiered that August, when we were about 4 months in, and the two just fit together perfectly. I'd save the eps until Sunday night after our sessions, and it was the best chaser ever.

Rob Wieland was a terrific writer and a great ambassador for the TTRPG industry, and he had integrity that too many of his colleagues lack. He co-wrote a passion project with me about 20 years ago, and I will always be grateful for his creativity and enthusiasm.

He was my friend. I'm devastated.
