When all children receive a high quality education that develops their critical thinking and problem solving skills poverty, hunger, and slavery will no longer affect millions.

Education gives hope, confidence and curiosity. And that breaks the cycle of powerlessness that leads to suffering.

Twenty years ago, the Iberian Lynx was the most endangered cat in the world. In 2000 there were only about 100 in the wild. Today there are over 2,400 and they have been moved from "endangered" to "vulnerable" by the ICUN.

We all need some good news you. We can heal our planet.

The moon shining through the clouds in Hong Kong.

We can all shine bright enough to break through the darkness. Be a light in the world and share your positivity.

Smiling Buddha warns of an electrical hazard. I spotted this figure on a recent walk in a small seaside village in Tung Chung Hong Kong.

I am a life long Patriots fan. Gutsy play at the end to secure the win. Going to the superbowl!

I got up at 5:30am to catch the second half in Hong Kong.

Rooting for Seattle in the other game. Want to see that matchup in the Superbowl.

An unusual sky at sunset in Hong Kong.

It has been very hazy in recent days. A bit clearer today.

Glad I’m not in Massachusetts where I grew up. I don’t miss the snow and freezing weather.

A lovely Sunday morning walk. I took a few interesting pictures along the way. There is a small #seaside #village near where I live. Some of the buildings have hand #painted #murals.

#Teachers are our superpower. After 2 years of #podcasting about #innovation in #education and talking to experts and thought leaders all over the world. One thing stands out above all others. #Educators drive innovation, not #EdTech.

Just 8 minutes. Have a listen.

I’m watching Trump speaking at the WEF and I threw up in my mouth.

He has been talking for at least 15 minutes and I don’t think he’s spoken a word of truth yet.

Please make it stop 🛑

OMG, I'm so jealous that Canada has a leader who is intelligent, articulate, and wise. This is Canada's PM Mark Carney's speech at the WEF yesterday. Please listen. His talk is about 18 minutes long.

"If you're not at the table you'll be on the menu."

No violent protests! We cannot allow agitators in Minnesota or anywhere else to give Trump the violence he wants. He is looking for an excuse to impose martial law and prevent the mid-term elections. He will do anything to stay in power.

Protest peacefully and stay safe.

I made this trailer for my new book. Probably should have paid someone to make it for me. What do you think? My daughter says it's "okay but a bit cheesy".

I wrote a book! It's a memoir of my weird and diverse life titled "From the Funeral Home to the Circus and Beyond". I hope it inspires some to live life to the fullest. I've shared my true stories in my own words, the good stuff and the tuff stuff.

This store is cruel. They are everywhere in Hong Kong and every time I see one my brain goes right to "Pop Tarts" and then I'm disappointed and craving a Pop Tart.

What's your favorite flavor? I'm a big fan of Frosted S'Mores.

The wolf moon from Hong Kong.

We all look up at the same sky. I wish we could all remember we breathe the same air and are all just humans sharing the same planet.

We don’t need labels telling us we are different.

Some random pics from Thailand. Two Michelin star restaurants, a lovely sunset, and a mess of wires. Common sights in Thailand.

We head back to Hong Kong today. It has been a wonderful trip to celebrate the holidays.

This beautiful hornbill was on a branch just above my head on a beach in Thailand.

We had a wonderful outing from Phuket to the smaller islands for incredible snorkeling and then lunch and relaxing on the beach.

I hope you are spending today with people you love.

There is something very special about the solstice. I have visited Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat, and the great pyramids. All are ancient temples designed to align with the sun on the solstice.

What was/is so important that such monuments were built this way all across the globe?
