Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!

What happens when both your mom and your ex-MIL die within 3 mos of each other + this is the first holiday without them? You get chosen to cook the entirety of Thanksgiving dinner, (which you haven’t done in 25+ yrs bc your ex-MIL always made bc your ex-FIL didn’t eat anyone’s food but hers)
