Only one person has sent me a message for the funeral today. Not even my best friend. Not the potential dates I’m talking to. Just one moot. That person knows who they are and knows just how much I love and cherish them. It’s not hard to be there for your friends. Not hard at all.

Update:

- wood fence+steps splintered and damaged
- side shade sail structure has collapsed in on itself
- all whirlybirds bent and dented
- solar panels look dented but we can’t get up to check
- solar hot water tank dented

Looking at making an insurance claim 🥲 $800 excess yay

My internal skylight has been shattered and there’s broken glass trapped inside ☹️ solar panels aren’t broken, my shade sails are ripped with holes everywhere, and my poor tomato plant was decimated 😭

Good morning. My uncles funeral finally has a date on the 9th. It’s an early morning service so we’ll have to make it a 3 day road trip. We have less than a week to organise everything 🥲

Trees down everywhere, park across the road is underwater, can hear sirens too. This was the scariest storm I’ve been in since cyclone Yasi I feel like crying 😭
