The public denunciations of the Minnesota assassinations from Republican lawmakers and officials has been deafening. Clearly the party of law and order.

Interesting how the Mideast is now on the brink of war and it's like the subduing and handcuffing of a member of the US Senate for peacefully engaging in his duties never even happened???

This isn't journalism. This is propaganda and thought manipulation.

In other words, when something happens and the media reports on it, instead of saying that 1 perspective weighs 99, and thus the others weigh 1, the media is reporting the minority perspective 99 times to ensure it seems the same of the majority.

In response, mainstream media channels are now favoring equal messaging again, regardless of whether the actual truth is reflected proportionally in their reporting.

That led to a rightful questioning of the growing bias of particular media channels, so that now the result is that all media channels are viewed skeptically biased.

I'm just going to say this...

40 years ago we did away with equality in media, meaning we no longer expected the various sides of a topic to be given reasonably equal exposure so as to better unearth the truth. This produced a media system where the loudest or most well funded message won out.

Season 2 of Star Wars Andor is really doing a great job of developing Bix. She's growing in depth, becoming both more sympathetic and admirable each episode. It's going to feel like a wrecking ball to the chest when she dies.
