For people of color, Wadette Bradford said, "Nontraditional sports like skiing can be lonely. You have people who have the resources to ski, but they’re there, and they’re alone. It’s an isolated feeling.” Before joining oldest and largest Black ski club in the world: Detroit’s Jim Dandy Ski Club.
