Real fine wedding my band performed at last evening in the woods on the IL/WI border.

And also wonderful to simultaneously receive a commission to perform at a New Year's Eve gig (and closer to our home base in Chicago).

Just occurred to me tbat we're ending our performance tonight around 1130p way up north near Wisconsin "...by Lake Wazzapoomonty" and finishing our set with "Sweet Home Chicago".

It will feel like 106 miles back home.

I don't have cigarettes.

Went and did something tonight I used to do frequently long ago: see a movie out in the theater solo.

Life over the last 15 years has made that difficult.

Nonetheless, had to see my favorite actor tonight, Daniel-Day Lewis in his new flick. Great as ever.

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.
