I saw one of the Never's End articles describe it as pixel art characters on 3D backgrounds, but everything is actually fully 3D modeled and pixel perfect. It has taken years and years to make it this clean. #neversend #pixelart #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame

"The grass and dirt terrain blocks were tricky to make. After many iterations to get that hand-drawn sprite look, I think the final result is one of the best executions of that idea in the game."
