I have two books out. Working on a third.

A Midnight Train to Everywhere is a ghost story that can feel a bit like C.S. Lewis meets Stephen King and Easy Prey is a vampire story that is a violent political satire on the way society treats homelessness.

Both are available in print and ebooks.

“I think it's a shame that something as creative and vital to the nature of the human species as story-telling is largely controlled by the soulless cretins known as publishers.”

This connects to the administration’s attempts to eliminate federal employee unions.

They want to outsource for profit.

They want to silence the voices of workers that speak up.

They view government as a business instead of a service to the country.

They care about profits over of people.
Leading American companies — including Palantir, Deloitte, and private prison giant GEO Group — raked in over $22B from ICE and CBP contracts last year.

Do not forget who is profiting from cruelty and human suffering.

“The idea I had, the underlying theme, was that just because somebody is different doesn’t make them better. ... That seems to be the worst thing in human nature: We tend to dislike people who are different than we are.”

“My advice to “up and coming writers” is, don't write at first for anyone but yourself. It doesn't matter how many or how few universities one goes to, what matters is what one learns, either at universities or by oneself.”

The violence is intentional. The Trump administration wants people to be hurt and Trump wants people to know that he can kill people with impunity. This was his dream.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

I thought COVID sucked, but we have a new epidemic in this country. It has turned conservatives into bootlickers and sycophants that fold up faster than a Gadsden Flag manufactured in China.

“When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’ I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing.”

“I can’t always write on command, but I can always work on a project. If the words aren’t flowing or I’ve run afoul plot indecision, I’ll tinker with the worldbuilding until I get a burst of inspiration again.”
