Alright so are we ready for step 2 now? We've needed it since 2000 but still no step 2. We need to build a media & political ecosystem on the ground, online,in the media. The Right's been doing it for decades, buying billboards, legacy media, social platforms, news orgs. WHAT. ARE. WE DOING.
Great! Where's step 2? We never get to step 2!! Come on!

He'd be prouder if we actually fucking voted. We're still not doing what we've known for 25 years we need to do: investing & building a media & political ecosystem to fight the Right's bullshit. In fact we've lost basically all mainstream media in the last few years.
So a ton of us marched (again) today. And? What's next? Another march? We did this in 2016 and did that get us anywhere? Did it change anything? Oh but we "feel better" right? We're in an authoritarian country, we shouldn't be feeling better.
I know I've said this more than once, but it's not to "punish" innocent people in specific regions, it's that WE'RE ALL CULPABLE here. We all let this disaster happen. The entire US is getting what we deserve & continue to deserve until we decide to do something about it. The US is currently lost.

I know Donald Trump is a pathological liar, malignant narcissistic sociopath, racist, antisemite, misogynist, xenophobe, homophobe, transphobe, hater of our troops and believer in euthanizing folks with disabilities, but we too often forget that he's *also* an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon.
Also, funny that comments are limited under that post. Don't want reality to burst that bubble, I suppose.
Honestly? I'm not feeling it. We've been here before and it's only getting worse. So these protests make you "feel better"? That's dandy. What's on for tomorrow that'll actually change something?
