I am sorry to say that my dad didn’t make it. We thought we had time but in the end my brother and I weren’t able to get there quick enough to say goodbye.
I don’t have the words to describe how angry I am at the universe for throwing me this boulder after pelting me with rocks for the past few weeks but here we go I guess. I’ve had 1.5 years to make my peace so we will see what happens.

I received news earlier today that my dad’s condition (he had been fighting cancer for the past 1.5 years) had suddenly worsened so am making an impromptu trip to Beijing tomorrow morning. My friends will be sitting for my cats but I will probably have to keep them separated for the week I am gone.

Cosmo yesterday was honestly quite good so today Nova felt comfortable to come out in interest to a toy, but of course rn he’s acting a bit like a maniac 😞 For the love of god

I feel comfortable that they will not hurt each other, but Nova staying in one spot because she’s afraid to venture out due to Cosmo is what I was worried about 😭

I’ve basically granted Nova and Cosmo full access at all times except when I’m asleep. Nova is asleep during the day and Cosmo and I play in the living room. I feel like my bed has essentially become a No Man’s Land so both are at peace there, and Nova just chooses to sit there most of the time 😭

Both Nova’s foster parent and manager have given me green light to let Cosmo and Nova freely roam so I’ll let them spend open access time together tonight before separating them for bed. I’m still nervous but they don’t fight and Nova watching from her hiding spot is apparently ok, so I’ll try

For artist alley / art conventions, is the vendor licensing requirement specific to each convention or do I need to apply for a broad general license for each state? Do I need a Sales Tax ID even if I don’t technically have a business entity?

Another question about tabling at an art convention…do I need a license of some sort or can I just show up with prints? Taxes would be reported when filing right?

Ok so Nova can definitely slip through the pet gate and she is running out into the apartment of her own volition (even with Cosmo around) so I guess it is time to just let her roam freely?????
Somehow Nova crawled into my bed even though the pet gate should’ve been closed…and I’m pretty sure she and Cosmo saw each other but they didn’t do anything. Both of them are asleep in adjacent areas with no barriers rn so I might as well just let them snooze…
