You are cordially invited to attend the official unveiling of a moment in baseball history with the placement of a historical marker to commemorate the first all-minority lineup in MLB history, which took place on September l, 197l at Three Rivers Stadium. This special dedication will solidify this moment in basebal and Pittsburgh history.
A speaking program will be followed by the official unveiling of the marker at the site of Three Rivers Stadium on Pittsburgh's North Shore.

Dick Allen never liked special attention in his hometown. Now his friends in Wampum, Pa. are celebrating his Hall of Fame induction.

Allen's Wampum family have hung a banner over Main Street and an artist is finishing a mural of Allen to celebrate his induction.
