Zero percent surprised that part of his context is Canadian racism. Apartheid in South Africa was already inspired by Canadian apartheid.
Went down a rabbit hole around Elon Musk’s grandparents and his mom’s parents were Canadian Nazi sympathizers who believed in wild antisemitic conspiracies and EXPLICITLY said they moved to South Africa for the racism.
