I brought back quotes of @samhaft.com's “Stayed Gone” for Season 2, Episode 4. Since Alastor and Vox drive these scenes, it felt right to echo the song that defined their dynamic in Season 1. Carrying that rivalry forward through the score with the same energy but new context.

Thoughts on new Hazbin episodes: 3 was not my best work. Definitely has some strong moments (esp. with Angel Dust) but Vox’s initial visit to the hotel was awkward for me to score. I def prefer his evil Bond villain scoring! The train scene was fun but wish I could re-do from what I have learned.

Me whenever I heard Brian Sadler utilize the character themes I wrote for season 1 in the season 2 soundtrack.
Also the new character themes he wrote for Baxter, Abel, and Lute were cool.

Here’s about 20 seconds of an unused cue from Hazbin Hotel’s “New Pentious.” It was ultimately cut — after the song, a little silence gave the audience some much-needed breathing room. When the music returns, you can hear a variation of Pentious’ theme and the new love theme for Charlie and Vaggie.
