Nathan Sage for U.S. Senate
@sageforiowa.bsky.social
Husband. Father. Marine. Mechanic. Iowan. Fighting for the Working Class.
Pinned
I’m a mechanic, marine, and sports radio host, raised in a trailer park in Mason City, Iowa.

I'm fighting for a Democratic Party that people like me actually want to be a part of.

I'm Nathan Sage. I'm running for US Senate. And I'm going to kick Joni Ernst's ass next November.
When only two percent of Congress comes from the working class, it’s about damn time we elect real working class representation to fight for higher wages, affordable healthcare and childcare, and leaders free from the corruption of big money.

Our campaign isn’t slowing down anytime soon – join us!

We didn't attend over 140 events, travel almost 15,000 miles, and talk to thousands of Iowans for the hell of it – we did it because Iowan’s are desperate for leadership that shows up, shuts up, and listens!

I am deeply proud to be the only candidate in this race to complete a 99 County Tour a full year out from the election.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible group of hardworking, passionate, and kind individuals we have on this team!

Completing our 99 County Tour wouldn’t have been possible without them. I’m proud to have a team of fighters ready to build a grassroots movement for the working class!

Bankruptcies are destroying our farmers because of the failed trade policies of this administration, and what is Ashley doing about? Staying silent as usual.
November 22, 2025 at 7:46 PM
This campaign will always be about showing up and fighting for Iowans. Thank you to everyone who has helped build our movement for working class representation one event, one dollar, and one supporter at a time. We’re just getting started!

But here I am, a year out from the election opening our first campaign office.

I’m not a career politician bought and paid for by billionaires or supported by party bosses. If you had told me a year ago I would have raised over a million dollars to run for the U.S. Senate as a no name candidate, I would have laughed in your face.

Young people are fed up with status quo politicians using canned talking points and lying to their face – they are desperate for real leaders to show up and fight for stable job markets, higher wages, and a future they can believe in.

Thank you to the Undergraduate Political Science Association for hosting me at the University of Iowa earlier this week!

These events remind me why I got in this race: to help those who have been screaming for help, but have been lied to and left behind by both parties. This campaign is about showing up, listening, and fighting for working class Iowans!

Thank you Washington County Democrats for having me this weekend!
November 20, 2025 at 12:25 AM
These types of decisions from out of touch politicians is exactly why we need working class representation to fight for Iowans in Washington.

At a time when corporations and monopolies are destroying our agricultural industry and family farms are struggling to make ends meet, we should be diversifying our farm economy not undercutting a growing sector.
November 19, 2025 at 9:43 PM
I get asked every day how we can bring more people back to Democratic Party. Here is an easy answer: SHUT UP, LISTEN, and FIGHT FOR THEM.

Ahead of the holidays, it’s now more important than ever for local food pantries to have the supplies they need to support working class families across Iowa.
November 18, 2025 at 12:06 AM
This weekend, I joined the @iowademocrats.bsky.social for their community food drive to support the more than 340,000 Iowans facing food insecurity and over 250,000 Iowans who saw their SNAP benefits delayed this month.
November 18, 2025 at 12:06 AM
It’s time we break the system and make it work for working class people again!
November 17, 2025 at 7:09 PM
When our supposed leaders in Washington would rather sell us out to their billionaire donors instead of actually fight for us, it’s about damn time we elect someone who knows what it is like to fight every day just to survive in this world.
November 17, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Thank you Lee County Democrats for having me at your Eppers-O’Malley Dinner – doesn’t matter where we go, Iowa Democrats are fired up all across the state!
November 17, 2025 at 7:09 PM
I’m the poster child for why we need to support our unions, raise wages, and lower healthcare costs. I’ve been fighting my entire life just to survive – and I promise to fight EVERY DAMN DAY to bring real working class representation to Washington.

I’m a Marine, Soldier, mechanic, sports radio host, and former executive director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. I’m also just a working class guy who grew up in a Mason City trailer park.
