And now I imagine Kiri finding out and regularly fixing it up when it gets too threadbear, because it is my strongly held HC that Kiri is actually pretty good at arts and crafts, including stitching and knitting. He never tells Bakugo, but he makes sure it'll stay with him for the rest of his life

at least he has his All Might blankie, full of holes and scorch marks, he's had it since he was nine, there for all his sick days and he's never getting rid of it
