I'm thinking about offering a last minute 'let's get serious about soldering' class this weekend. Three ($75) or 6 (125) hours, based on interest, Sat Sun or Monday… anyone interested? I could have you up and running on pick soldering and able to practice at home by next week. Yep, I said *practice*

Primitive Casting class last weekend was a total blast… we melted silver/ poured it into water, wet broom straw, carved out cuttlefish bones and oiled sand molds… Lots of material to finish into jewelry of all kinds! #watercasting #broomcasting #cuttlefishcasting #sandcasting #silversmithingclasses

Had a great class this weekend, and conversation led me to create a brand new class- Riveted Stone Ring. This is a ring completely created without soldering, no fire. Skills will include drilling stones, riveting, rolling mill texturing metal and more. Open for registration on the website. #riveting

These simple brass calipers don't get enough love. Being easy to read isn't everything, you know (they aren't)! But here is one of my favorite tricks… separate the two pieces, and you have an itty bitty square you can use to check right angles! #silversmithingclasses #jewelrymakingclasses
