I went to a Maxim Gaspari exhibition yesterday. He tried to capture the Slovene peasant world’s customs in a mythological context. I live in Slovenia and I feel it’s most been lost. Can we regain empathy for the poor and their customs?

My sister was eight when she was diagnosed with leukemia. I cannot imagine the horror of being deported from the only home you’ve ever known ON TOP of fighting a deadly disease. This poor baby
Miller and Homan must be so pleased with themselves. Fucking monsters:

A family that was deported to Mexico hopes they can find a way to return to the U.S. and ensure their 10-year-old daughter, who is a U.S. citizen, can continue her brain cancer treatment.

Day 2 of Lent. I’m giving up meat but decided to eat some meat leftovers which were going in the bin. I think less waste is better.

Obviously I ate more than this apple but I want to eat more simple unprocessed foods and celebrate local fresh produce. #vegetarianism #climate

March is Women’s History Month, a time to honour the trailblazers, rule-breakers, and countless women whose stories were never written down. But history isn’t just in the past, it’s unfolding right now.

DOGE recommends cuts to the FAA.

Hundreds of workers get fired, including those tasked with producing air traffic navigation maps.

Now Starlink is reportedly in line to take over a $2 billion contract to upgrade the nation's air traffic control systems.

See how this works?

Natural fibres such as wool and cashmere don’t need to be washed very often (even never!) they need air and some sunlight. Polyester (same material as plastic bottles) bond with your skins oils and so they start to smell and each wash releases microplastics into the environment. Go natural!
