As someone who knows my history pretty well and was partially raised by my grandparents , seeing my generation of black people vote third party/ not vote at all and discourage others from voting breaks my heart and mind a little bit ( a lot )
The way I see a certain shade of liberals/ Democrats reacting negatively to Jasmine Crockett running for Senate doesn’t surprise me 🙄 being a liberal doesn’t change a thing ( seeing black leftists promote voter apathy makes me sad too )

Now that I’m older , aside from the food and seeing my grandma , I don’t really care for Thanksgiving anymore 🥴 relatives being “concerned” (nosy) , having to be an entertaining host , preparing for the holiday itself + dealing with my job and having to be “nice” to my Trump supporting relatives 😪

One of the quickest ways to irritate me is interrupting my pre planned day yes life can throw curve balls but I hate last minute announcements that inconvenience me when I already planned out my entire 24 hours yesterday now I have to rush 🙃

I don’t understand the fanfare over Zoharn winning especially when there were more notable wins in Detroit , Virginia and New Jersey off the top of my head . In a deep blue city like NEW YORK I would hope he would win after he co-opted Harris’s joy campaign too
