So #WritingCommunity, a funny thing happened to me in Waterstones, Inverness. Was paying for a reference book when a lady walked in, stood right beside me and asked the staff for a copy of #SnowOnTheBen. I know she meant the old nonfiction mountaineering book, but I had to tell her it was my wip too

That's really great, thank you. My MC lives in Odessa, and travels to her family cabin near Ft Davis. At 4,900 ft would she describe it as high country, hill country, Davis Mountains or something else?

Hi Teresa. Your comment about Texas hill country has caught my attention. My wip has a remote cabin scene near Fort Davis. Is this correctly known as hill country? I ask, as I have used the term High Country, I now guess this is wrong. I live in Scotland and want to get this right.
