A reminder today that things don't always go as you planned in life.
I absolutely couldn't make a go of it doing colour pencil drawings like this. But I did get there in the end.

My cat expert (son’s girlfriend) is out at the moment but when she gets home I’ll show her the pictures I used for the colouring and let you know.

New work today with words by Rumi.
I've been looking after my mum for a few weeks now since she came out of hospital so getting new work done has been hard.
I was very sceptical if I could finish anything so this is all the more special.

New work - though not quite finished.
With words by Virginia Woolf.

I painted this using my new set or iridescent watercolours by Sennelier.
I think I used about half a tube to achieve that background! I wanted it really thick.

I really hope you like it.
