I tend to worry that my 3D rigs have too many bones and would cause lag when calculating movement.
But honestly, based on seeing triple A rigs and how many people can run said games with said rigs just fine, I am FAR from causing unintentional frame rate damage lmao.

Using this silly small project as a chance to practice bone attachments and simple skins.

The new pivot offset ratio field is a god send...
No need to calculate the half width and height of your 2D objects, to, just, make them scale from their local center.

Another one of my favorite Crash fan game progress sharing moments is that, in the comments of a video that concentrated on showcasing it and my concept art, someone mentioned they got interested in Godot again when my stuff proved that its 3D capabilities aren't bad at all.
Muy bueno.

I feel like the best way to learn about programming patterns for Godot is to just search the pattern and add "Unity" to the search.
Because, at the end of the day, it's not too far off from how you'd go about achieving it in Godot.
At least with stuff like strategy and state machine patterns.

Remember to backup that Godot project if you're planning on upgrading to 4.6! They didn't mention anything potentially project breaking in the notes, but it doesn't hurt to give the engine a few minutes to back your stuff up.

Sometimes a collision shape is positioned just wrong enough to trap and spaz out the player.

Sketch I forgot about.
Might finish these and use them as key art or something.

All these years I thought it was "no wifing in the club".

Made Aku's hovering motion and follow on Y-axis a little slower to give his motion a little more weight and feel less stiff when moving.

About backend development

This is exactly how I felt figuring out crate management and the save system for Crash Dimension Twist.

Everytime someone questions whether they’re looking at a leaked official build from the PS1 days or ripped assets, when I post about my fan game made with 3D and 2D assets created from the ground up by me, makes me smile a bit.

I liked how in Crash 4 some of the level props react to you spinning them.
Some things that are sitting right at the path wall collision or are bending over the path may or may not react to you spinning them now.
