I need to dare to exaggerate vertex positions more if I wanna make something stylistic and low poly.

So far a huge improvement for the Crash fan game.
Beyond the need to adjust some of the offset adjust areas and camera path curves to avoid the view from flipping backwards, it's been awesome to see a more automatically working path camera code.
I figured out some crazy transform math today.
Found out how to make an object track something sideways relative to what camera's forward direction is.
If I implement this into the Crash fan game, that would pretty much eliminate 90% of scene tree crowding camera look at adjustment paths.

Wow C# sure is slow in Godot now, can't even calculate gravity without it moving at a snail's pace, what a letdown of a language.

Two things you kinda need to understand and accept as a game dev:
- You can't please everyone
- Aiming to please everyone leads to pleasing no one

So, just concentrate on actual helpful criticism and people who actually like what you're doing.

Shoutout to the Editor Background plugin by Nukiloco for Godot 4.1 and up.
I adore stuff that allows me to extend software customizability like this.

Really cool that, if you have Doki Theme or some other background image adding plugin installed for Visual Studio, you can define your own image.

What kind of default keyboard mapping do people assosiate with a Crash Bandicoot game?
I've been using WASD, space and mouse for my fan game since it feels the most comfortable to me, but been thinking of changing that for the general crowd.

Painting black vertex colors into the level model for shadows and dark spots like Bob Ross paints clouds.

"Just tapping, quick light mouse taps. Don't worry about it, just create dark spots where you think the sun would be blocked. No mistakes, just happy accidents."

The magical childhood moment when my favorite Donald Duck comics villain Phantom Blot had a whole episode about him in House of Mouse.
And later in DuckTales 2017.
Which lead me to find out that he was in the original DuckTales too.

I only learned today that Crash Back in Time has a fan-made website for sharing player made levels.
The positive effect that game has had on people and the community of creators that's formed around it is so cool to see.

More of that in these times!
