I don't understand why people feel the need to judge or have opinions on other people's bodies and choices that don't effect them?

I'm tattooed. I'm gonna keep getting tattoos. A stranger's opinions on tattoos is not going to change a single thing for me so there's no need to be a dick about it?

At work yesterday, a woman I was serving asked me if my tattoos were permanent. It wasn't an innocent question, it was clearly asked in disgust because, when I answered 'yes', she proceeded to give me a judgemental look that she really could have kept to herself.
