Okay question, am I the only photographer who hates the constant fire emojis 😭 idk how to explain it but it just feels so…obligatory. Has everyone’s response to art been reduced down to 🔥? Imagine writing a love letter & getting a thumbs up… ugh being an artist on a social media is so… #photographer

You ever ask someone why they don’t show up for you and they say something like “I feel like even if I did, it still wouldn’t be enough for you”? Yea that’s bs…walk away…they’re not doing it because they don’t want to.

Community is more important than ever. I’m not saying sacrifice yourself but I also want us to understand this is not a vacation. We need to be figuring out how we are going to protect ourselves. We decided we would no longer be saving the world that doesn’t mean we don’t need to save ourselves.
Unfortunately I don’t actually think our community can sit everything out for the next 4 years. White people can barely tell black people apart… y’all don’t think ICE is a threat to us? They are literally kidnapping US CITIZENS.

I truly believe people can change. Like I feel so guilty when I think to myself “this person is never going to change” but if the toxic cycles persist well into someone’s 30s. If they’re still choosing harm over healing at some point you just have to accept this is who they’ve decided to be.

I’m actually starting to think a lot of these companies have mismanaged their funds over the years because there is no way you’re still this greedy after “making” all this money and can’t provide a quality product or pay your employees livable wages. It’s giving they really the broke ones 😫
