Zenos pretty much murdered Varne after she refused to fight him in Ultima Thule. Eirene (Azem) burned all that was left of her existence to save both of them, bringing Varne back from the edge and granting herself the final death she craved.
Has your WoL / OC died before? Were they resuscitated without long term consequences or are they undead / an apparition of some kind as a result of the event?
