Funny story: when my non-skating fan editor published my essay on the elements of figure skating he said “I picked some generic shots of skaters doing the elements so you see the moves but they’re anonymous.” I opened the link and spit out my coffee (link to article in thread!).

Confession: lately I’ve encountered a couple people from high school in grocery stores & they’ve said to me, “You look exactly the same! It’s incredible how young you look!” & I’ve said to them, “You look the same too! We all look so good!” But it’s not true—they look haggard! 😈
