Week 7.26: Finally went to the dentist after years of avoidance. Got a second opinion from an AI. Reconnected with a friend I hadn’t seen in four years. Climbed a virtual mountain to cope with the stress. Normal week.

Week 1.26: Inherited 20+ records including a signed Ralph McTell with problematic inscription, visited local shops and bought five more, definitely ‘stopping now’ (narrator: he won’t). Plus, the best albums of 2025.

Week 35.25

It got me thinking about qing ming, which is a day in early April (I had to look this up) where Chinese families traditionally visit their ancestors’ graves and do some neatening up. I have vague memories of being dragged along to do this as a kid, and even being allowed by my parents to skip school for it.

I should say illnesses, because we saw a doctor early in the week and she said (and these are the words every INTJ raised on WebMD loves to hear), “
