After seven months, I can finally post this commission @gibbledygoo.bsky.social did! Paired with chapter 33 of my fic, Your Touch, Luz and Amity are finally interacting properly, and it looks like Luz is catching feelings...

Not that I can recall ever seeing, but they may prefer to keep it ambiguous for legal reasons. I think Dana's involvement in Gravity Falls may predate signing Owl House contents over to Disney.

Yeah, there's some content outside of the show. One involves Stan describing his ex as a woman named Marilyn with "big hair, a gold tooth, a shirt reading Thirty and Flirty, and possibly a curse."

Dana Terrace worked on Gravity Falls and also included Eda and Owlbert in the Lost Legends comic.

I wrote an autistic protagonist in my own books, but given that I wrote them, I don't think they're a good portrayal either. XD

Amphibia shows the Owl House itself and a picture of Bill.

The Gravity Falls comic has a picture of Eda, and Owlbert appears separately in staff form, and multiple deuterocanonical sources make reference to Eda. The computer website includes easter eggs referencing Hooty and Belos.

Owl House has a calamity box, the three main frogs, Sasha's sword and Anne's tennis racket, and Anne herself appears in the news. Bill appears in a chart of demons.

Shipping is rarely about what's canon (since it's common for a series to end without ever making anything official), and often isn't limited to one couple (or thruple for that matter). It's just different ways of envisioning the characters.

I know a lot of people see machine-generated content and are in awe of just being able to produce moving pictures based on inputting words, but it takes a certain mentality to ignore the actual substance of that imagery and he has it in spades.

Like, the average person should see this and intuitively understand that something is horribly amiss about this vision. It looks like a fever dream of vanity and childish aspirations muddled with bizarre details pulled from a confused understanding of what the word "resort" means.

The way he seems to think the "AI" videos produced on his behalf are good, too. That one showing his vision of Gaza as a land of bearded hula dancers and women throwing themselves at his feet while people genuflect in front of a giant golden statue of himself? That's... not a sign of a healthy mind.

Most of us usually just switched to a cheaper plan. That plan was congenially known as "Just don't get sick! And if you do, try to die quickly so you don't leave your family with a hospital bill in the tens of thousands."

And somehow people thought it was a better plan than what the ACA offered.

I remember a couple on the NES (I think I played Might and Magic waaaaay back) but Final Fantasy 2/IV was the one that got me hooked. 😄
