Year 6 had a visit from Cardiff University earlier this week…
We learnt lots about what university is and the exciting things to do there.
We were shocked to find out you can even get a degree in ‘Surf Science’ !🌊🏄♀️
It’s made us even more excited about our trip to the university very soon!

6MF took part in a workshop with an Air Raid Warden who transported us all the way back to 1939. We then explored the public Anderson shelter and climbed all the way to the top of the keep!

We love this ‘base’ that some pupils in 6GP began building together. They thoughtfully created sections to represent soldiers from different countries across the British Empire who served in World War 2!
