#r4today I would suggest Emma does take the time to watch "One Battle After Another" it has many swipes at the current state of US politics. Could be quite informative.

United Fruit Company not "US" in Guatemala 1954 but the Dulles brothers (one Sec of State and one head of the CIA) did have interests in it. US intervention in Latin America by no means new.

Just read the Guardian editorial on Welsh politics analysing the demise of Welsh Labour, mentioning (in passing) that Plaid is in the lead, but this passed over to focus on Reform. Even the Guardian? Really? #Guardian

Well, there was a mention of the Guardian headline on Johnson but well hidden in the news headlines and quickly turned into an explanation of ex-PMs allowances. Come on BBC, you can do better than this, no need to be so blatantly biased. #r4today

Dreadful interview by Rajan. Blatant bias on the Angela Rayner issue. Was she "avoiding" paying the full amount...clearly the BBC jury is back with a guilty verdict. #r4today

Reassured that there are many posts expressing anger and indignation at Nick Robinson's interview with Jenrick. Absolutely agree that this was an appalling piece of right-wing propaganda intended to stoke fear and hatred. #r4today
