For what it's worth I'm not a perfect parent, but was better than my couldn't give a shit about what we wanted to do, just get good grades and join the military parents (no money).
Maybe I should have been less interested and more absent instead of trying too hard. There never is a right answer.

My son doesn't want to see us on Christmas. We had him move out earlier in the year to try and motivate him to go out and do more as he'd be living in town. But he doesn't. Just resents me now. Merry Christmas.

Weak ass Prime Minister. Cow towing to the wealthy again. Less than 25% of farms fell into the 1.5m+ category of tax. And they've had ample opportunity to set those farms up as trusts, which is how rich people pass on assets without paying tax. Scammed again.

Going to HMV later this week to try and find a few of my favourite Xmas films on dvd. Tired of relying on streaming bullshit. Glad I kept my dvd collection now.

Gotta love delivery drivers. Knock on door asking us to take a parcel for no 8. Said yes. Brings massive box. Didn't look at the label on side. Mum from no 8 pulls up at lunch. Give her the box. Just now no 8 a road over asked if I had a parcel. Had to tell her I gave it to no 8. They aren't home. 😬

I have my health check tomorrow. The one for when youre 40. I'm 46. Reviewing my last blood test in 2024 and realising they should have done further kidney tests. So will mention tomorrow. Preparing myself for being told I'm fat. I know I am but will suck being told so. 1/2
