knowing now that team cherry were in development heaven for seven years. a significant portion of that had to be having a giggle over "11 wave gauntlets where every single enemy is worse than the primal aspids" or "bench placements that might result in long runbacks but are pretty funny"

- the bosses can and will crush you to pieces in five seconds flat but so far they’ve been pretty well-telegraphed
- my main point of difficulty with the game is honestly the garden variety little guys walking/flying around…arenas/bosses with minions are my kryptonite every time (2/2)

midgame silksong opinions:
- love hornet’s movement and kit; she feels like walking on air sometimes
- the scale of the world and the amount of different paths is incredibly impressive, it really feels like a kingdom (1/2)

things i like more about digital art: not having to do battle with every shape and line to make things readable

things i like more about pixel art: getting to use the fill bucket to lay down flats. how forgiving it is and the amount of control i get over the whole canvas

super early game silksong opinions:
- i like the extra time in the air of the new pogo, but i’m still getting used to its diagonal direction
- silk system feels a bit more unforgiving than the soul system in that you have to either commit really hard to a heal or magic
- i wanna pet my dog
