This guy also painted the house boats. He is very fast. He only started this painting a few hours before turn in time. His name is Jimmy Navaro, he won the Quick paint contest last year.

It was really packed last night at the gallery. There were a lot of really good painters there. These two are by Jon Erickson, a super gifted plein air painter. He was also one of the organizers for it.

Protest moved back to Democrats headquarters where there was a bubble machine. It did seem like there were more people showing support for us than people flipping us off.

I hiked for 3 hours today. Just got changed for the opening. I did get some nice photos. Not entirely sure how far I went in 3 hours. Today was a trail I had never been on before.

The soup I ordered just got here. In the past they only had vegetarian soups. They have branched out. This is potato cheddar bacon.

Won't do that. Think the BP thing is related the thyroid stuff. My aunt said Grandma, who also had the thyroid thing, had to give up coffee due to it. I cannot go to Jules though and have a scone without coffee though. I guess I'm rambling.

Getting lunch at Jules. They have the best scones, they use fresh berries to make them instead of dried. I've also got a decaf Americans. I try to stay away from regular coffee these days because it was making my BP go up. Anymore regular will keep me up all night too. So hoping this is decaf

I did hike a bit yesterday on the Marsh trails. I've probably taken this photo before, will check when I get home. Not sure which I like better.

If you think migrants mostly come to the U.S. and don't stay in Latin America, you have no idea. Most don't travel but one country over so they can stay closer to home and family.

Oh I took a photo of what my palette looks like. FB sent me this thing about an artist costume. It had the wood palette that goes on your thumb. I've never had one of those. Mine is a plexiglass square with wax paper taped over so can just toss it for cleanup.

Kind of kicking myself that I did not take any photos from last night's artist meet and greet. My hostess informed me when I got back last night that Mike Martino used the money he got from a commission to fund the drinks and food for us last night.
