How do we refute whatever study resulted in SaaS brands making it so hard to find their "login" link from their home page?

It's become a red flag for me that a SaaS product is optimized for conversion, not actual usage, when I have to hunt for the "login" link.

I feel like their "emotional outrage" algorithm is dialed up even higher than other algorithms, and the effect of that is exactly what we're saying.

It shows in what gets amplified by the algorithm, but also in what doesn't -- which makes it really of limited utility for business purposes.

I haven’t broken my “other place” habit (not the bird app, the other one) yet because so many good friends are still there, but having to delete a “WTF” post about PDX because it was achieving escape velocity might just be the clincher
