Where is this slow ascending bwooooop bwooooop alarm coming from? Morgan festivities?

The only reaction I get is the sore arms (which is why I will avoid doing both again because I sleep on my sides.)

Maybe it’s the weather, but people are being exceptionally chaotic out in Baltimore today.

Nasal saline spray, stronger glasses, I got to read the book.
Nothing holds anyone together but imagination.
Trust us, they would say if they had the words. We should know. We have died. We are in love with everything.

I really want to read this book, but I get maybe 10 minutes before my head protests.

Work (hopefully*) with them to maximize their independence. Losing it is really hard. *sometimes, it will be without them. Forcing my parents to get in home PT was hard, I felt like I was betraying/infantalizing them, but we now agree it was a great move.

I’ve definitely forgotten a time or two & got stuck.

My technique has clearly improved, I don’t think I even got a single bruise! (The thing is so unwieldy.)

Headache bedamned: pulled, cleaned and put away the murderous ac. Will probably do the other one next week.

I did that once. Probably will avoid doing both arms at once in the future. Flu shot tomorrow, Covid in a couple weeks, may see if I can sneak rsv in, too.

Attn NE Baltimore! Tomorrow is Morgan State Homecoming parade. Plan travel accordingly.

The sinus headache that woke me up early this morning makes even glasses hurt, so I decided minimal screen time & called out.

And then the heavy machinery arrived to repave a portion of my street, a couple door down.🫠

Mine will jump on them when they hear the rumble, before heat, but this was extra since it’s not even on yet!

Between whatever hormone nonsense & the shifting weather this week, I have felt like crap in some way every day since Sunday.

Also, she’s taken the role of lörg squishy who melts into you.

Also, you have a color combo such that you can’t even try to get stuff that disguises fur.(My first 3 were grey tabbies, by chance. I could try. Then the tortie& sandy &greybie. Yeah…)

Ivy lost there werekitten mohawk, but she has the truly oddest fur still. Wooly but soft. Dense. Like alpaca maybe?

They’re FIVE now. Still the kittens.

I wore pants today. Cooler temps had cats wilding at strange times. Inside temp is what I keep at winter, but I’m not adjusted yet. Neither are they; Maple optimistically tried out a radiator.

!!!

& yes. So many of the early pics are either asleep or blurs.
A blurry sandy tabby tiny kitten mid slide off the edge of a lavender tub onto her rump as a tiny grey kitten with a werewolf mohawk looks on.

Project Hail Mary is an excellent travel read. Gave it to my retired astronomer (who introduced me to sci fi) dad and he actually talked to me about it, which is big.

I really like Andy Weir for just… exposition. Science explained. Good humans. Imagination. It’s not complicated, it’s fun. It’s familiar. (Sometimes I want literary brainwork. Sometimes I just want a smart ride to carry me.)

Still getting paid for the next month (told my dad I got his birthday present.)

We are just creampuff filling in a pastry shell.

Yeah, often.
