Well, when all you’ve known is stress for the past eternity, you tend to attach yourself to the feeling. You become the feeling. And, is there any Sebastian left outside of the parts that force him to survive? Is he just going to dissolve into sand when he reaches the shore? It feels like he will. And, even with all the tension put on his shoulders, feeling like he’s holding up the Earth itself.. he still fails people. Eyefestation: "Solace, despite everything... you are still you. If you truly lost yourself, would you hold the feelings you do for those around you? For those like P.ai.nter? Many-a man would not of given a second thought about any of those around him here. That is what is you. You see, the Solace that makes up who you are is not gone, rather trapped beneath the world you hold down here. When you reach the shore, you must realize, you wont dissolve within the sand... rather you will re-emerge from it, climbing back out of the hole from where he was placed. You have not failed either, you have done the best you can in an awful situation. You're more successful in your endeavors than you have led to think." Sebastian gives you a good long stare, realizing that what you’re saying is completely factual. Yet, in this current moment, as all people in traumatic situations lean towards doing, hes suspended in the belief that there’s no end to suffering. He’ll just have to see it with his own eyes to believe it. A light at the end of the tunnel. Sebastian: “ Thank you Eyefest. I’ll think long and hard about this. Why couldnt you have been small enough to fit on a submarine? You shouldn’t be lonely down here.” Eyefestation: "Of course, I am just glad I can lend you some advice. And I shall be okay, do not fret about me."

You are neither inferior, nor undeserving. The stress of the situation is quite alot, and you have not had time to truly process that, let alone properly have means of care for yourself. Of course ones mind would become ravenous against itself in this situation, as anyones would.”
