I am sitting in an empty parking lot waiting for a store to open. I deliberately never park close to stores as I have mobility and don’t need to. I am at least 15 spots away from the door, and someone just pulled in RIGHT BESIDE ME. Come on, man lol

Yep. Tires wear in certain spots just due to reg usage, so they should be rotated every 3000-7500 miles depending on it is RWD or FWD. if your car is shaking when you brake at high speeds it usually means you need to get them balanced.

Don’t let places try & scare you into getting more done.

I needed my back brakes done when I moved here so called a local place w/great ratings. He said getting Mazda parts was not easy & he needed it for 2 days to diagnose the issue (I told him what the issue was), then said I needed to stop driving it as it was unsafe lol. Quoted me $12-1500. Insane.

Yep… but up charging a woman in places like that is common. Source: my friend’s husband ran a bunch of places like that and he freely admitted they do it.

Went to my tire rotation & balance appt this morn. They didn’t have balance on the appt & the guy

1 Informed me both things would take 1.5 hours (lol ridiculous)
2 Felt he needed to, condescendingly, “educate” me on what those two things meant 🙄 bc they are “different”

I canceled the appt & left

Dragging my lazy butt out of bed at 6am to work out before I drive and drop off The Kid for their Monday classes at college. Then it’s emailing/calling my old clients to reconnect for a project my cousin and I are starting.
