I actually haven't...gonna take a look though.
Got access to Sora 2 today (y'know the thing making the hyper-realistic AI videos)

genuinely speechless. It's uhh...I'm maybe a *slight* bit concerned...

the tech is impressive but the videos themselves...definitely go off the deep end.
Why so? Is it just because of how complex it is?
Gotta be totally honest, I bailed on learning emacs and org mode for the time being. Its just a bit too much to learn while juggling classes lol.

Since I already know markdown, I downloaded Obsidian randomly while in class and its actually been amazing so far.
seems like AI slop was the thing to make Kurzgesagt snap

doing research for assignments or my own videos especially, I've had to rewrite entire pages due to incorrect summaries from LLMs lol. "Confidently incorrect" AI models are funny until a point.

happy 42nd birthday to the GNU Project #tech
just secured a ps vita, will be putting custom firmware on it
i've been wanting one of these forever. originally bought a vita 2000 from japan but I never received it (long story, it wasn't I or the seller's fault). now have an OG vita for better or for worse.
I just started researching Lisp and older languages for absolutely no reason and ran across this quiz that claims to explain Lisp in way that even people with minimal programming experience can understand

but the syntax is like drunk python...
yo this syntax is diabolical 😭 Lisp is definitely a one of a kind #programming

No I do not want to sign into software.

90% of software should just run on your computer and do the thing it's built to do.

Not everything needs to be signed into.

There's no reason I should have to sign into Adobe Acrobat reader!
Oh wow I was always under the guise that it was just programming focused, would be a nice replacement for me using Google Docs for notes.
very very late response on my part, I apologize

I heard about this but haven't really looked into it a ton...I didn't know it was this deeply integrated into the game 😭 that's insane
gonna try out emacs soon, suddenly thought of a comment on one of my old videos. apparently it's for more than just programming? really want to dive more into open source stuff, i kinda eased off of it for a few years
Cannot express enough how much I admire the ingenuity needed to host a website on...a vape pen.

I mean this hardware was definitely not built for this and now it has internet connectivity. All done by one person. Crazy ngl

also I'm gearing up for another video sometime next month hopefully
3 exams in the next week I'm cooked
I feel like these two games have VERY similar villains

at a very basic level, they both maintain power using manipulation of information and thought

not to mention they both have very controversial choices in story too (Raiden being protagonist over Snake in MGS2, the cliffhanger in Halo 2)
yo I just want to wish a happy birthday to Hatsune Miku by showing off my FL Studio theme
With so little time to do videos I really don't feel like doing any for just views anymore, even though I'm monetized.

Now that I'm in an engineering program, I really value every moment I get to have some semblance of creativity in the day amidst a backdrop of rigid coursework (I'm doing gen eds)
I've really want to do more subjective/futurism/yapping, maybe even some artistic content (ex: more B-roll like my "detour to the park" video) rather than guides or setups. My music interest is an extension of that.
not gonna lie I haven't really felt very passionate about YT in a few months since my most popular videos are informational videos or videos that are difficult to reproduce frequently, others have flopped mostly.
ok 2 weeks since I've been on here

getting absolutely thrashed by linear algebra, improved massively on music production (able to compose full songs on FL studio), college social situation is a bit tough for me so far, still overthinking about my future career
