Wright on the Market Alert: The Weisblat House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1948, has been re-listed for sale. Part of The Acres in Galesburg, Michigan, a Wright-designed community, this Usonian house has only had two prior owners - and is now seeking its third. savewright.org/weisblat-hou...

The Walser House foreclosure process ended today. It is now bank-owned, removing a major legal obstacle to getting this 1903 Wright design into the hands of a steward who will preserve it. buff.ly/sEfstYA

The Mississippi Museum of Art (MMA) has purchased the Hughes House in Jackson, Mississippi, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1949. They will operate the house as a public site, opening it for visitors to tour. The opening date has not yet been announced. savewright.org/hughes-house...

Work is underway to restore the historic wood-shingle roof on the Kraus House in Kirkwood, MO, designed by Wright in 1950. The Conservancy is partnering with The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park to publish an ongoing collaborative case study: buff.ly/F3dQsL5

The Corbin Education Center at Wichita State University (designed by Wright in 1958) was listed on the National Register of Historic Places this summer. A volunteer group, Friends of Corbin, spearheaded the process of securing the listing. buff.ly/FhLUYDR

A group of Conservancy supporters gathered last weekend for a special event at Auldbrass in South Carolina. Movie producer Joel Silver, who restored the 1939 Wright design, guided us on a tour and joined us for a convivial dinner, all to raise financial support for our mission.

Congratulations to the Friends of Cedar Rock for securing a $50k grant for masonry and wall work at the Walter Estate in Independence, IA, designed by Wright in 1945. The Conservancy was pleased to provide a letter of support.
