The past few months I've been semisecretly working on something special: my very first Original Character! One not based on an existing franchise!

TAKE A LOOK AT MY RETRO RIDER, AS DESIGNED BY @savisays.bsky.social !!!

"TIME TO RIDE THE BEAT"

A reference sheet for a tokusatsu themed character: the words Retro Rider are displayed on the top right and bottom right. It is a bee-like mechanical suit primarily of yellow black and orange, displayed with both a front and a back side on the reference sheet. The head resembles a 2000s music player, with the speakers of the player showing as eyes for the head, two crooked metal antenna, and the buttons of reverse, play/pause, and fast forward in the center. There are two orange mandibles on either side of the face with layers of metal sheets in the middle.

On the right side between the words RETRO RIDER are close ups of the face and belt: the face is the same as the reference sheet but the metal plating is raised, showing an LED display between the mandibles. An audio visualizer is shown on the LEDs. To the right of the head is the belt of the suit, made of two small speakers and a portable cassette player in the center. There are two silver buttons on either side of the cassette player.

There is also a display of the palette of the suit in the style of the 2000s music player buttons.
