A year ago today, I was told I could not continue in my PhD program at NYU. I wasn't given a real answer as to why—but it was the worst day of my life.
Two weeks later, during a mediation with my adviser, I learned that it was because she "didn't have time" for my disability.

I'm very concerned about Chancellor Palpatine. I find it strange that he was elected after a smear campaign towards the former Chancellor. I also find it odd that he requested emergency powers at the start of his second term, and that the Senate seems to fall in line with him.
